January was kicked into February with a great wedding up in Manly in Sydney's Northern Beaches area. It was a brilliant day for it, the sun was shining, a nice breeze was blowing and the people were ready to get down and boogie!
Here are some pics from Saturday's festivities.
St Mary's Immaculate Catholic Church - love the stained glass windows and the organ
The view from the rooftop of the pub we went to between the ceremony and the recption
The CND nail polish I blogged about here
Action shot with the girls
We had to get a picture of this lounge and background. It was a pretty cool rooftop bar.
We took some 'arty' shots on my friend's compact with some weird settings
A screen displayed all the wedding snaps they had taken plus they had a photo booth where people could dress up and take photos that were later displayed on the screen.
Totally unexpected was a South American floor show of samba, lambada, capoeira, salsa and a few other styles I couldn't recognise. It was brilliant!
A cheeky bathroom outfit shot - Princess Highway dress, SES metallic knit bolero, "chainmail" necklace, diamond drop earrings & stainless steel ring.
The happy couple striking a pose above the dancefloor light.
